TrainerStash — Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 October 2026
1. About us
This website and store are operated by TrainerStash LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17107820. In these terms, “TrainerStash”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean TrainerStash LTD.
Our registered office and postal contact address is: 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE.
Email: [email protected]
We are not VAT registered and do not charge VAT.
These terms apply to purchases made through our online store. Please read them before ordering and retain a copy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information. Our Condition Guide explains our card condition grades, and our delivery and returns information provides further details about those services. Nothing in these terms or our other policies limits your statutory consumer rights. If a policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right, that right takes priority.
2. Placing an order
Please check the products, quantities, delivery address and contact details before submitting your order. You must be legally able to enter into the purchase contract. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to place the order for you.
Submitting an order is an offer to buy the products listed in it. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order; it does not by itself mean we have accepted it. For physical products, including preorders, we accept your order when we send an email confirming dispatch. A contract is then formed for the products dispatched. For gift cards, acceptance occurs when we issue the gift card and send confirmation of its issue.
Payment may be collected when you order, including for preorders. Taking payment does not itself constitute acceptance. If we cannot accept an order, we will notify you and promptly refund any payment collected for the affected products and any delivery charges attributable to them.
Before acceptance, we may decline an order because stock is unavailable, an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred, payment cannot be authorised, delivery is outside our service area, or there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud. We will not substitute a materially different product or increase the agreed price without your agreement.
After acceptance, we will fulfil the contract unless you cancel, we agree otherwise, or the law permits us to end it. These terms do not give us an unrestricted right to cancel an accepted order.
3. Products, images and card condition
We sell trading card singles, sealed products, graded cards, preorders and gift cards. The product listing identifies the item offered, including its language, set, variant and condition where applicable. Please read the listing and our Condition Guide before purchasing.
We use a mixture of stock images and photographs or scans of individual items. Stock images illustrate the product and do not show the exact copy you will receive. Where an image shows the actual item, we will identify this in the listing. Unless a listing says otherwise, images are representative; the written description and stated condition identify what is being sold. Images may not reveal every surface mark, and screen settings can affect colour appearance. This does not reduce your right to receive goods matching their description.
Raw card condition is assessed using our Condition Guide. A condition grade is not a guarantee of a particular result from a professional grading company. Graded cards are sold with the grading company and grade stated in the listing. Any material slab damage known to us will be disclosed. The grade does not promise a particular resale value or a matching grade from another company.
Sealed products contain the contents described in their listing. Randomised products do not guarantee any particular card, rarity, value or pull rate unless the listing expressly states otherwise. An advertised guaranteed item or feature must still be supplied.
We take reasonable care with product information. If we discover a material error before accepting your order, we will explain it and ask whether you wish to proceed on the corrected basis, or cancel and receive a refund. We will not treat a disclaimer about errors as permission to supply misdescribed goods.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP). Delivery charges and any other unavoidable charges will be disclosed before you place your order. The checkout total is the amount payable. Optional extras require your agreement.
Payment is made using the methods offered at checkout and is handled by our payment providers. You must be authorised to use your chosen payment method. We do not charge VAT because we are not VAT registered.
Prices may change for future orders, but a later price change will not alter an accepted order. A change in a card's market value does not remove your statutory cancellation or faulty-goods rights.
5. Preorders
Preorders are clearly identified in the listing. Payment is taken at checkout unless the listing expressly states a different arrangement. The listing will show the expected release or dispatch period and any particular delivery arrangements.
The normal 48-hour dispatch commitment does not apply before preorder stock becomes available. We aim to dispatch within 48 hours of stock becoming available to fulfil your order, unless a different dispatch period was stated and agreed when ordering.
Release dates and supplier availability can change. We will tell you about material delays or shortages and provide an updated estimate where possible. You may cancel an unfulfilled preorder for a full refund of the amount paid for it. We will not charge a cancellation or restocking fee for exercising your cancellation rights.
If we cannot supply your preorder, we will notify you and refund the affected products and applicable delivery charges. We will not replace it with another product without your agreement. If an order contains both in-stock and preorder items, any arrangement to hold them for combined dispatch will be made clear before purchase; otherwise we will contact you to agree delivery arrangements.
6. Dispatch and delivery
We deliver to UK addresses only, subject to any postcode or service restrictions disclosed before purchase. We dispatch in-stock orders within 48 hours of receiving your order and successful payment, unless a different dispatch date is expressly agreed or advertised before purchase.
We use Royal Mail 48 or Royal Mail 2nd Class, as offered for your order. Available services, charges and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout or in our delivery information. Dispatch time is separate from transit time. These services do not provide a guaranteed arrival date unless we expressly agree one with you.
We will deliver within the agreed delivery period. If no different period has been agreed, delivery will take place without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being formed. Preorders may have a later delivery period expressly agreed when ordering. If delivery is delayed, please contact us. Your legal rights to set an appropriate additional deadline or end the contract where applicable are unaffected.
Goods remain our responsibility until they are physically received by you or someone you nominate to receive them. If an order is lost, damaged or delayed in transit, contact [email protected]. We will investigate and provide the refund, replacement or other remedy to which you are entitled. You do not have to pursue our carrier yourself.
Please provide an accurate delivery address. If you notice an error, contact us promptly so we can try to correct it before dispatch. If an order is returned because of an address error you made, we will discuss redelivery and any reasonable additional postage with you before charging it. This does not limit your cancellation rights.
7. Cancelling physical product orders because you changed your mind
For most physical goods bought online, you may cancel without giving a reason at any time after ordering until 14 days after the day you receive the goods. If a single order consists of goods delivered separately, the cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you receive the last of those goods.
Tell us clearly that you wish to cancel by emailing [email protected] or writing to our postal contact address in section 1. Include your name, order number and the items concerned if available. You may use the cancellation form below, but you do not have to use it or obtain our permission to exercise a cancellation right.
Return cancelled goods without undue delay and within 14 days after telling us you are cancelling. Contact us for the appropriate return address; the registered office may not be the stock returns location. If you have not received return instructions, contact us promptly. We will not use a delay in providing instructions to prevent you exercising your rights. Please package items securely and retain evidence of posting.
You pay the direct return postage for a change-of-mind return. We pay reasonable return costs for faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods as explained below.
You may inspect goods as you reasonably would in a shop. We may make a lawful deduction for loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. For example, opening booster packs, breaking a graded-card slab or damaging a card may substantially reduce its value. We do not apply an automatic blanket refusal of statutory cancellation solely because packaging has been opened. Any deduction must reflect the actual loss in value and be permitted by law. This does not apply to a valid faulty-goods claim.
When you cancel the whole order, we refund the price paid and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option offered for that order. We do not have to refund the additional cost of a premium delivery upgrade. For a partial cancellation, we refund any delivery charge attributable solely to the cancelled items.
Refunds are made without undue delay, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and without a refund fee. For returned goods, we may withhold the refund until we receive them or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first. We refund within 14 days after that point. If goods were never dispatched, we refund within 14 days of your cancellation notice. Any lawful deduction will be explained.
8. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods
Your goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any particular purpose agreed with us, and as described, taking account of their stated condition and any specific defects disclosed before purchase. Please contact [email protected] if there is a problem. Photos and your order details can help us resolve it, but we will not impose unreasonable evidence requirements or reporting deadlines that restrict your legal rights.
You normally have a short-term right to reject non-conforming goods within 30 days of delivery and receive a full refund. After that, you may be entitled to repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or final rejection and refund. Your rights do not automatically end after 30 days.
We cover reasonable return costs for valid faulty, damaged or misdescribed-goods claims. Please contact us so we can arrange a suitable method. Refunds following a legal rejection will be made without undue delay and within 14 days of our agreement that you are entitled to them, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, with no refund fee.
9. Gift cards
TrainerStash gift cards can be used for eligible purchases from our store as described at purchase. They do not expire, and no dormancy, inactivity or balance maintenance fees apply. They do not earn interest.
The gift-card balance is applied at checkout. Any remaining amount is payable by another method offered at checkout. Unused credit remains available for a later purchase. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash except where a refund is required under these terms or by law.
If you buy a gift card directly from us online, we offer cancellation within 14 days after the day we confirm its issue. We will refund the unused balance to the original purchaser's payment method. If it has been partly redeemed, any cancellation of the goods bought with it is dealt with under the applicable returns provisions; this does not create a right to receive both the goods and a refund for their value.
Where goods purchased using a gift card are refunded, the gift-card-funded part will normally be restored to the gift card, and any other part returned to its original payment method. This does not affect any different remedy required by law.
Keep gift-card codes secure. If a code is lost, stolen or used without permission, contact us promptly. We will investigate and, where ownership and an unused balance can be verified, help secure or reissue the remaining balance. We cannot generally recover credit already spent by an unauthorised person, but this does not exclude responsibility where we are at fault or restrict your statutory rights.
We may suspend a gift card where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud or an unauthorised or reversed payment. We will investigate fairly and restore any legitimate balance where appropriate. Gift cards must not be used for unlawful purposes.
10. Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your account credentials secure and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You must not use the store for fraud or other unlawful activity, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious software, or interfere with its operation.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect the store and its users. Any restriction will be proportionate and will not remove your rights relating to an existing order, refund or legitimate gift-card balance. You are not automatically liable for unauthorised activity merely because it occurred through your account.
11. Intellectual property
Our original website text, branding and other original materials belong to TrainerStash LTD or are used with permission. Product names, card artwork, photographs and third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners. No affiliation with a trading card publisher or grading company is implied unless expressly stated.
You may view and save website content for personal shopping purposes and retain copies of these terms. Other use of protected material requires the relevant rights holder's permission or another lawful basis.
12. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence or was contemplated by both parties when the contract was made.
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of your statutory rights relating to goods, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. We do not impose a blanket cap limiting your legal remedies to the order value.
Trading cards can fluctuate in market value. We do not promise future appreciation or investment returns. This does not limit our responsibility for goods that are faulty or do not match their description, or any other liability imposed by law.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used and protected, including information needed to process orders and arrange delivery. Please read it alongside these terms. A reference to that policy does not itself constitute consent to marketing.
14. Complaints, governing law and courts
Please send complaints to [email protected] or our postal contact address in section 1. Include enough information for us to identify the order and understand the issue. We will investigate and try to resolve the complaint fairly. You do not have to complete our complaints process before exercising legal rights.
These terms and contracts made under them are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you also retain the protection of mandatory laws applicable in your home jurisdiction.
You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live. Nothing in these terms restricts any consumer right to use another court with jurisdiction.
15. Changes and general provisions
We may update these terms for future orders. The version provided when you place an order governs that order; later changes do not retrospectively alter it without your agreement. The date at the top identifies this version.
If a provision is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply where they can operate independently. A delay in enforcing a right does not by itself waive it. No provision limits mandatory consumer protections.
